Can I edit the converted document?
Yes. In editable mode the text is real text you can change in Word. Complex layouts (columns, forms) may need small adjustments.
Does it work with scanned PDFs?
Scanned PDFs contain images, not text. Use “Exact layout” mode to keep them as pages; editing needs OCR software.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. The conversion happens entirely in your browser, so your document stays private.
Will the formatting stay the same?
Headings, paragraphs, bold/italic and images are kept. Exact positioning, tables and multi-column layouts are simplified in editable mode.
What is the maximum file size?
